Children NEED God: Be LOUD in Prayer, In Praise and Stand Against Evil
Share
In today's world we face an endless struggle surrounded by a population that is determined to destroy itself and in the process generations to come.
Our "leaders" are not examples, they are perpetuators of a wave to stamp on the poor and helpless, breakdown those that may be slightly successful and are so drunk on power that they do not give a second thought to using ANY means possible to control "their" subjects.
There are two words, control and their, we are not here to be controlled and we are certainly not their subjects. We need to wake up!
How, as a collective world, do we accept that leaders and these political miscreants have our interests at heart when they continue to systematically rid the world of any form of moral value system that could stand the test against the principles of the Christian Faith.
BUT it is our fault.
The promotional campaigns for LGBTQ, Trans Genderism and the acceptance of these movements to be recognised in the schools of our children is our fault not these politicians.
Your School Governing Body represents you as parents, no major change can happen without the majority of the SGB voting in favour.
If you as a parent find it acceptable that a male can enter the bathroom of your daughter, perhaps we need to spend time as a Church discussing the many ways that is wrong.
The promotion of males to compete against woman and the very fact we have allowed such nonsense to happen is our fault. We have filmed it, watched it, allowed our daughter's to walk onto that field or dive into that swimming pool in a tacit acceptance.
To gain what? A societal "Atta Boy" followed by a tap on the back? For lack of any actual data we will still give what we believe:
90% of those very high fives are from people who will go home and offer whispers of dissent around their dinner tables because they too afraid to face the repercussions if they tell the very truth they meant to be loud about!
It's our fault!
We attempt to justify our cowardly silence by using the Bibles message of peace or turning the other cheek. This is no longer acceptable. That is a cop out to what God actually tells us to do when we staring at EVIL:
Ephesians 6:11
"Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil."
1 Peter 5:9
"But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world."
1 Corinthians 16:13
"Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong."
We need to go deeper. Stop dipping our toes in the word of God whenever it's convenient.
Your Bible is the tool of knowledge, the word of God. You will find strength, wisdom and courage in that very book!
The Bible promotes peace and love, there is no argument against that,
"God is Love" John 4:8
BUT the Bible also tells us to expose the evil, not through random violence but through a persistence.
Ephesians 5:11 "Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them."
A persistent, unflappable, unwavering determination to continue to spread the Word of God, the life stories of Jesus and praying for the Holy Spirit to come into our lives, fill the world with hope, with mercy, with love and peace.
It's is our fault it is not happening.
Church leaders remain adverse to controversial topics for fear that some may dissent but that is the courage we need to see in our leadership.
It is our fault that our children cannot speak two verses of the Bible or who attend Church as a blind chore that their parents make them do.
We are Christians, children of God, a God who sent his only son to us, to die for our sins. That is the courage, the love and the mercy he shows us.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16
We have a duty as Christians that our very first priority, our calling, the task requested by God, asked of us, is to take care of our children, His children.
“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6
We are failing.
Clothing them, schooling them, loving them, those are standard practice. But it's the simplest task we see as the hardest:
Inviting our children to have a friend in Jesus. THIS above all else is one of the single most important tasks we have as parents, as Christians.
Jesus has this very command in Mathew 18:5, we see Jesus humbly compare Himself to a child and then gives a grim statement which emphasises how he sees Children:
“whoever receives a child in my name, receives me.“
Matthew 18:6 “anyone who causes these little ones to stumble, it would be better to have a millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.”
By instilling Faith in our Children, by encouraging them to pray, by setting an example to them that talking about Jesus is COOL is one our callings of Faith directly from a living Jesus, directly from God himself.
That is our responsibility as parents, as Grandparents and as Christians.
Our children are under attack, they are the target of a radical attack on Christianity and the moral values that this represents. This attack is worse than a bullies punch, this is a silent, evil movement, invisible to all those whose Faith is being tested.
We have a duty to stand up and defend God, defend the wisdom in the Bible, defend our most loyal supporter in Jesus and we can do this with the power of the Holy Spirit.
That is our responsibility and we need to stand up and be COUNTED.
We need to pray for God to give us COURAGE.
Be LOUD in prayer, be LOUD in God, be LOUD in worship and be LOUD in bringing your Children to God.
